Mullen offers a variety of electronic pre-press service bureau capabilities. We do high-resolution film output for jobs that are printed both in-house and elsewhere. We do high-resolution flatbed scanning for both reflective pieces and transparencies. Plus, our skilled pre-press staff offers photo-retouching and manipulation services. From simple dust removal to complex imagery, Mullen can satisfy your imaging needs.

In addition, Mullen offers full graphic design services. Our talented and creative staff can help you create a professional, eye-catching newsletter or a dynamic creative masterpiece (please ask to see samples). With all of the imaging capabilities offered in-house, you will never have to deal with the hassles of using several vendors before getting your job to press.

One of the least visible, but absolutely essential, areas of our operations is the (non-electronic) pre-press, or stripping, department. After film is imaged, it is processed and then assembled from color separations and into printer spreads by the stripping department. The strippers can also place items from previously run film into blank holes in documents, saving you the hassle of placing the same material in your document over and over again. From there the film is used to burn plates for the press or to make bluelines or process color contact proofs. Mullen also provides camera capabilites for "camera ready" jobs, printed laser proofs, or cut-and-paste jobs.
